Standard Rates

My standard rate is $55 per hour. However, this rate is flexible on a per-contract basis depending on the nature and intensity of the work requested.

Specialty services, such as office IT support and other "house calls" carry a fee of$85 per hour.

Price Examples

As a general reference, simple websites with 4 to 5 informational pages require between 8 and 12 hours to complete. $300-$500

More complex websites such as e-zines and blogs can take as long as 40 hours to complete. As much as $1,400 or more

Logo and graphic design increase the number of hours required.

Other Expenses

Website Hosting:

I recommend Lunar Pages, the cost is approximately $100 per year. They have the best package I've found, and I've never encountered any technical issues.

Other website hosts are available, some less expensive, and clients are free to use these. However, some discount hosts are not hospitable to advanced features which could result in additional hours to complete the site.

Software:

In some cases, it may be more cost-effective to purchase a software package (such as a CMS or commerce package) rather than "re-invent the wheel". In such a case, the cost usually runs from $0 to $250.
